too close to be distant

There is a subtle allurement about distance,

 it makes you look beyond the horizon,

 not that your destiny is visible 

or traceable,

 yet, you tend to look for it,

 in the blazing streaks and cold drizzles,

 through the infuriating thunder cracks,

or in the shivering cold swept of wind.

It is like living within a magnetic field,

being a piece of iron...

It is when two souls realize

how distant they are,

that is when they are most near.

Oh you distance!

Should I curse you or thank you??
